The Africa Climate Change Network
The Africa Climate Change Network (the NETWORK) aims to bring together individuals and groups of researchers, practitioners and policy makers from across the African continent and outside the continent to share knowledge, skills, experiences and expertise in various climate change-related matters such as climate science and innovation, impacts, mitigation and adaptation.

To enhance climate change science, mitigation and adaptation by sharing and translating knowledge into practice through research, collaboration, advocacy and outreach and to create a platform for members to engage within and outside the Network and to grow as leaders in their professional areas.
Our Objectives
- To develop and sustain an up-to-date database of climate change experts in Africa
- To be a reference source for climate change experts in Africa
- To sustain a platform for climate change knowledge exchange in Africa and beyond.
- To facilitate strong and value-adding partnerships in climate change research, practice and policy
- To create synergy and facilitate dialogues among climate change policy makers, researchers and practitioners
- To mobilize resources for the activities of network
- To build and sustain capacity in climate research, innovation and policy analysis in Africa
