- Dr. Galine Yanon graduated from Harvard University on Sustainable Leadership which was partially funded by AfriCLP Fellowship funds.
- Veronica Jakarasi moved to a new job Climate Finance at Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund.
- Erick Omollo & Veronica Jakarasi attended COP 26 in Glasgow

- David Awolala completed the “Advocacy for Research Output”, training organized by the DAAD Africa Climate Leadership Programme (ClimapAfrica programme) in collaboration with the West African Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Bonn, Germany.
- Prof. Waema, hosted a dinner for Flory Djaki, from our sister program WAfriCLP. She came to Nairobi for a fellowship and the Kenyan fellows, Erick Omollo and Stanley Jawuoro attended. In attendance was also Dr. Laban MacOpiyo, and Dr. George Outa, and Mercy Njue. It was a nice time of re-union and an opportunity to learn more about Flory's policy project as well as what the Kenyan fellows were doing (who seemed to have climbed up professionally and doing well in their PhD journey). We were later joined by the Director of the Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation, who gave an excellent speech
- Veronica Gudu led Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe to get accredited to the Green Climate Fund. A first in Zimbabwe.
- Dr. Yeboah was also selected as a reviewer of UNEPSs Global Adaptation Gap Report 2021.
- Flory was selected for the NDC Financing Workshop Program of Frankfort University in collaboration with IDRC and ARIN for the NDC Financing Expert Certificate.
- Dr. Leonard Chauka won a 20,000 Euro grant from BIOPAMA after attending the Grant writing workshop.
- Dr. Bernard Barasa was part of the team that developed the Uganda Disaster Atlas which was uploaded on the NECOC website

- Manei Naanyu was promoted to be the Head of Programmes which also serves as the Deputy Country Coordinator.
- Veronica Gudu was appointed as the new board chair of New Forestry Commission.
- David Awolala won Postdoctoral Research Fellowship of the DAAD Africa Climate Leadership Programme (ClimapAfrica programme) in collaboration with the West African Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Bonn, Germany.
- James Wafula shipped 3kgs of Earthworms from a customer he met via Linkedin.
