Dr. David Awolala; Principal Investigator: Research for Development Projects (November 2023 – October 2026) “ Decision Support for Climate Risk Preparedness towards Gender - Responsive Crop Insurance in West Africa ”. The project is under the small grant programme of the Climate Adaptation and Resilience (CLARE) and sponsored by the IDRC and Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the UK.

Appointed Member, of International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP), for the quadrennial period (2021 – 2025). Member, Independent Global Stocktake, West Africa. The Independent Global Stocktake (iGST) is a consortium of civil society actors working together to support the Global Stocktake (GST) the formal process established under the Paris Agreement (PA) to evaluate progress on climate action at the global level and identify overall gaps to achieve the PA as well as opportunities to bridge them.
