23rd March 2022

Presented my Africlp Action Research work in a paper titled “Effect of Tithonia Diversifolia on the nutrient content of vermicast, growth, and cocoon production of Eisenia Foetida in earthworm beddings”.

The event took place on 23 March 2022 and revolved around the theme “Human Systems Transitions & Planetary Health”. The event was organized by the Mawazo Institute in partnership with the Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation, University of Nairobi. The aim was to explore scientific approaches, critical research, and transformative practices that can help us better understand planetary health and its implications for the African continent.

As a result of my participation, I received the contact of a Microbiologist from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) with whom I am currently collaborating on the next stage of my organic fertilizer research.
